FLYING TIPS
Always reconfirm your flights 24 hours before flying. Be ready to check in at the airport at least 2 hours before take off, 3 hours if on an international flight.
If you miss a connecting flight, don't run to the connecting airline. Before you do anything else, check with the airline you came in on and have them rebook your flight. It's their responsibility to ensure that you get to where you need to go, that may include rescheduling you for the following morning and providing you with hotel accommodations.
Drink water to prevent dehydration. Take your own snacks or food. Most airlines no longer give passengers a meal. The air in planes is extremely dry and can cause severe dehydration. So drink plenty of water before, during, and after your flight.
Exercise on the plane. Walking around on board or simply moving your ankles and feet from time to time can help prevent the swelling that often results form long plane trips.
